ASIAN MANTI
Actually, its name is not Asian manti I made it up. As it is
well-known and preferred in Asian countries, it has different names which are
called in every country such as Ozbek manti or Kazak manti. Each kind
has differences from each other but generally they are same.
It is one of the most preferable meal in Turkmeistan. It is
very tasty meal. It is cooked in a special cooker so it makes it so particular. It
is prepared with so much meat in it so hope you will not hate it. It could could be consumed by everyone if she/he is not a vegetarian or has not got any kind of illnesses. The price isaffordable. You could find it in Kecioren in Ankara as well.
So it is the stewpod. It has 4 steps , the step which is the below one fulled with water and
the top ones filled with mantis. The mantis cook at the vapor of the water.
Additionally, they are made by hand.
INGREDIENTS:
FOR DOUGH : Here a video which is explained how to make manti but first
another kind of meal introduced so I just wanted to inform you.
1 egg
2teaspoon salt
1 + 1/5 glass of warm water
3 + 3/4 cup flour
MORTAR MATERIALS
3 units onion
1 kg ground beef
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup of water
As mentioned above it is known in Ozbekistan and Kazakistan. The difference is that kazaks make it with mixture of vegetables and
baharat. Ozbeks make it as turkmen do so you could taste it in Ozbekistan as
well. Turkmens and Ozbeks do it mostly with meat or pumkin.
